I've had no problems with this battery. A few reviewers had bad experiences with this product. I've run the battery through 10+ charge cycles and am getting above average use with my sony camera. Way better than spending $40 on a brand name battery.

I don't have my battery yet. Here's why:
I ordered this battery on Monday because I needed it this week. Receiving it by the end of the week would have been fine. Instead I get a message from the vendor saying the following,
" Thanks for your order. Your item is being shipped from Hong Kong as
stated on the listing. Please allow 12-24 business days for delivery..."
They even went on to suggest that the reason why they are able to sell the product for such a low price is because it comes directly from Hong Kong, which they claim is stated in the listing. The listing states that the item is "in stock". In my Amazon account, the item shipping time shows 3-5 business days. What is not stated is that it could take up to a MONTH to get the merchandise. I could have walked to the Wolf's Cameras shop 25 miles away and bought the battery in a month.
They suggested that I not give them a negative review. That is not their prerogative! One of the benefits of ordering a product on Amazon.com is that they normally deal with vendors who can get the merchandise out quickly.
The whole idea behind the reviews it to let potential buyers know the kind of transaction satisfaction that was experienced...good or bad.
BestDealUSA, the vendor, should be forthright in the listing. If I didn't need the battery right away, I might be a little less ticked off, but I certainly would not have even ordered from them at all if I had have known the REAL lead-time on shipping. Just be forewarned.

Works just as well as my expensive Sony brand battery. As a matter of fact I have two of these and I really can't tell the difference from my Sony battery at all except in the PRICE. These were SO MUCH cheaper!

I was able to double the availability of my camera on a road trip by switching to this battery when power was low on my regular battery. This item was great help for an affordable price. Great value for the power it provided. The battery delivers about 2.5 hrs of power in continued use. This is around 6-7 hrs of intermittent use on heavy settings, like a party or event when you take multiple pictures and video on demand.

This battery does the job and seems to hold up well. It is much cheaper than the Sony direct replacement. I would recommend this as a replacement or spare for your camera.
