BP-511a's power my venerable Canon Powershot G1. In that use, all the batteries I have owned were able to power hundreds of exposures and provide a full day of shooting. They all lose power over time. These are no exception. They work perfectly. They are marked 2200ma, but I have found no need to test them.

I was skeptical about these batteries for the price. I've only had them a couple months but so far can't tell the difference from batteries that cost 3x as much.
