I bought the battery grip because I was shooting a wedding and did not want to worry about changing batteries. It arrived in 3 days and works perfectly! The same exact battery grip was at Wal-Mart for $54.99 - I paid less than half for it through amazon!!

I have no comparison to make with it. It seemed dirt cheap and does the job so far. Have to wait and see for how durable it is.

Wow, this is awesome. I bought it for my Rebel XT, and decided to pass on the more expensive Canon version. It works great and was easy to attach to the camera. It just feels GREAT in your hands, the rubber gives you a better grip and the overall added weight and size make the camera easier to hold. I also LOVE the added buttons for shooting portraits. This product is really a great deal.

Excelent price. 2 batteries = extended shooting time. grip extension makes camera more comfortable to hold. Don't wait. Buy now!
